From the Evil Darkness of Satanic Control to the Glorious Light and Freedom of New Life in Jesus Christ

In “The Redemption of An African Warlord” Joshua Blahyi begins by carefully developing the history background, and culture of the Sarpo-Krahn people, a warrior tribe who believed in conquest. As a child Joshua was trained to become a priest among his people; a people under the power and rule of Nyagheaweh, who was dominated by the devil and his demonic cohorts.

Within a short time Joshua Blahyi became the youngest and one of the most powerful warlords in Liberia. Empowered and motivated by demonic forces, he became feared for his reputation of terror, as he sacrificed men, women, and babies, and recruited children to fight with him.

In a blinding light, similar to Saul/Paul on the road to Damascus, Jesus appeared to Joshua, with a message of repentance. Joshua changed his allegiance from demonic darkness to the light of Christ; received forgiveness, regeneration, and restoration. He is now a testimony of the Light of Jesus Christ reaching out with the message of hope and love, redemption and renewal.

Joshua story is remarkable, a powerful testimony of the grace and power of God to change a life, overcome bondage to Satan, and use him to bring the message of Christ’s forgiveness and redemptive power to those “lost” in the darkness of evil in Liberia, Africa.

“The Redemption of An African Warlord: The Joshua Blahyi Story” will be of interest to everyone who has followed the troubled affairs of Africa, political, historical, and cultural. It will be of special interest to Christians with a prayer concern and World View of the expanding the Kingdom of God.
