Treasury of Bible Stories – By Kelly Pulley – A Book Review

Treasury of Bible Stories – By Kelly Pulley
David C. Cook Publisher

Bible Story Classics in Metered Rhyme with Contemporary Illustrations

From “The Slippery Story of Adam and Eve” to the “Magnificent Story of the Resurrection – He is Risen” Kelly Pulley fills over 300 pages with Bible stories written in clever metered rhyme accompanied with exciting, unique, colorful illustrations that almost jump off the page.

Among my favorites are “The Tasty Tale of Daniel in the Lion’s Den” and “The Good Dunking: The Refreshing Story of John the Baptist.” Pulley’s touch of humor adds to the child’s enjoyment of the familiar stories. The cadence of the metered verse enhanced by Pulley’s unique illustrative style combine to bring home the intended truth and application of the Bible passage.

True to Scripture as well as entertaining “Treasury of Bible Stories” is a must reading experience for every growing family.

A complimentary copy of this book was provided for review purposes. The opinions expressed are my own.
