Think and Grow Rich – The Legacy By James Whittaker – A Book Review

Reviewed by Richard R. Blake, Napoleon Hill’s Legacy Lives On in Think and Grow Rich – The Legacy

Think and Grow Rich: The Legacy released in conjunction with the major motion picture by the same title is based on Napoleon Hill’s Napoleon Hill’s Think and Grow Rich. Pursing consistently and applying his thirteen principles to success you, the reader, can be assured of personal fulfillment of your optimum potential. The book features life stories of people who have overcome “adversities” and changed the direction of their self-image and legacy.

These stories are relevant for today’s reader and are inspirational, motivating, and potentially life-changing. The examples of Sharon and Michael Lechter struck a chord with me, I identified personally with their dual passion for lifetime learning and making a difference in other people’s lives.

I plan to follow Bob Proctor’s “Goal Card” principle and am expectantly watching for positive results. I was fascinated with Barbara Corcoran’s valuable lessons on the rewards of an active imagination. And I admire Derek Mill’s persistence in discovery and promotion of the concept of mentoring others by listening to their hidden inner genius.

I was deeply inspired by Don Green’s example of commitment to education and business skills and life of pursuing and achieving his goals. Each of the over two dozen stories features and illustrates how a life mission of purpose and fulfillment can lead to satisfaction, success, and a rich personal legacy.

Reviewed by Richard R. Blake

Starting the Process – A Journey into Discover, Desire, and Decision

“Making Accountable Decisions – A Journey to an Accountable Life” focuses on the most important decisions we make in life, their impact and how decisions add value and significant meaning to who we become. Balance, Virtue, Respect for Self and Others, Perspective, Courage, Generosity, Gratefulness, and Excellence are only a few of the topics Sam Silverstein addresses in the book.

Expect a life transformation when you pursue Silberstein’s suggestion to read the text, become familiar with the keys to master your decisions and by focusing on the suggested questions and exercises by spending five minutes a day considering your answers and let them build on each other as you begin to make “accountable” decisions.

I have already started this process and am confident that continuing will play an important part in fulfilling my future goals and their achievements. Due to recent events in my life, I am in a period of transition. Continuing the principles and practices will have a significant impact on my making accountable decisions in the months ahead.

Sam Silverstein is known internationally for his emphasis on building an organizational culture dedicated to accountability among the leadership. Silverstein has written numerous books, including the book titled “No Matter What.” Material excerpted from the book is included as “bonus material” featuring the importance of commitment.

I can highly recommend “Making Accountable Decisions” to anyone serious about beginning “Journey to an Accountable Life.”
