A Vision of Hope for the End Times – Why I Want to Be Left Behind By R. Loren Sandford – A Book Review

Fresh Insights on Popular End Times Concepts

Chapter one of R. Loren Sanford’s new book “A Vision of Hope for the End Times – Why I Want to Be Left Behind” provides definitions applicable to the themes of prophecy, apocalyptic, the rapture, the great tribulation, and pre and postmillennialism interpretations.

Sanford has a strong commitment to the truth of the Word of God and to responsible scholarship rooted in cultural background, linguistics, and textual contents. He sheds new light on and fresh insights into popular end-time concepts; the Mark of the Beast, the Antichrist, the Great Tribulation, and other prophetic themes.

A careful look at the Millennialism’s three views is summarized; the origin, the leaders and the misconceptions presented. A careful chart depicting the Apostle John’s revelation presents an excellent view of the 7 Seals Broken, one event refracted four ways.

Sanford’s writing is straightforward, illuminating, and relevant. He is careful to make clear that the interpretation of these prophecies is not a condition for man’s salvation nor as core values of the faith giving the reason for division among believers.

Whatever your position Sanford’s “A Vision of Hope for the End Times – Why I Want to Be Left Behind” will be a challenge to “preach a victorious gospel in keeping with the resurrection.”

Enthroned – Manifesting the Power & Glory of Your Divine Union in Christ By Jeff Jansen- A Book Review

A Present Reality of Unbroken Union with God

In his book “Enthroned” International Crusade Evangelist and Revivalist, Founder of Global Fire Ministries, Jeff Jansen describes a lifestyle of experiencing the “Throne Room” rights of the believer.

I read with interest the many quotes of E. W. Kenyon – establishing our position in Christ, our new creation reality, the revelation of enthronement,  our identification with Christ, our complete redemption, and our power to defeat Satan in matters of spiritual warfare.

Jansen’s writing is well organized and formatted, carefully developing theological themes, including the spirit of heirship, an optimistic world view, the Kingdom and the Church, the three-dimensional nature of man, keys to living the ascended life, and much more.

“Enthroned” encourages the reader to explore a broader perspective on the exciting developments taking place in world revival throughout the world currently and the growing trend of a spiritual awakening in third world countries today.

Jeff’s deep-rooted passion, consistent teaching, and exemplary life reinforce his message. His work is highly endorsed by Christian leaders, Theologians, and pastors.

The Bible by Jesus: Featuring the Complete Old and New Testament By Elmer Towns

A Paraphrase, Complete Old and New Testaments, Transforming, Life Changing

The Bible by Jesus is a paraphrase of the Bible using the words and perspective of Jesus translated from the intent of the original writers into contemporary language thought by thought.  From the first day of creation, through to the Apostle John’s last Amen and final benediction of Revelation, it’s all here as told by Jesus.

Reading “The Bible by Jesus” is an extraordinary and uniquely personal and intimate experience. I felt I was in the Garden of Eden, in the evening breeze, walking with Adam and Even as the Lord Himself spoke with them. I joined Moses as he approached the Holy ground of the burning bush, and with David through every trial and triumph as he took delight in the worship of God, as he became recognized as a “man after God’s own heart.”

I saw myself sitting with Nicodemus as Jesus explained the need to be born again. Step by step I imagined myself walking with Jesus as He called his disciples, “Follow Me.” I became eager to answer His call with them.

“The Bible by Jesus: Featuring the Complete Old and New Testament is an authoritative paraphrase which creates a fresh, intimate experience with God through His Word: I encourage you to read the pages of “The Bible by Jesus.”  Enjoy the intimacy of His presence.
