Insight and Understanding into the Theology and Ideology of the ISIS

Professors Craig A. Evans and Dr. Jeremiah J. Johnston, New Testament Scholars, and highly respected thinkers collaborate in this important analysis of Mohammad, Islam, the Jihadis, and ISIS, their theology and ideology. They provide the reader with a fresh look at the growing terrorism, domination, threat of atrocities, destruction, and crimes against humanity, all in the name of Allah.

A review of Jewish history beginning with Abraham, their exodus from Egypt, and their conquest of the Promised Land, also details their expectation of a Messiah. They show how the life of Jesus, his ministry of preaching, teaching, and healing explain the reason for His death, and for His resurrection, which gave birth to the Christian Church.

A comparison is made with the origins, traditions, and teaching of Muhammad and the Qur’an, the basis for ISIS aggression, strategies, propaganda, and eschatology. The authors carefully document evidence that substantiate their position that the Islamic State adhere to and embrace the teachings of Muhammad as found in their Holy book and traditions

“Jesus and the Jihadis – Confronting the Rage of ISIS – the Theology Driving the Ideology” is highly informative and serves as a clarion call to Christians to take a stand for their faith, boldly proclaiming the message of Jesus, as the Son of God and the promised Messiah.

Holy Spirit Inspired Revelation – True Biblical Reformation

In the book “Snakes in the Temple – Unmasking Idolatry in Today’s Church,” visionary and prophetic teacher David Orton challenges his readers to consider the possibilities of reformation, revival, and worldwide spiritual awakening if the Christian Church of today were to restore its Biblical foundations, and to join the next generation in a commitment to see this come to fruition.

The book is organized into three sections. Chapters one through three explore the dream of future revival, while envisioning a spiritual awakening. Section two describes the present realities and a diagnosis of the idolatry found in the church of today. Section three outlines the steps needed for a spiritual breakthrough and a restoration of the glory of the Lord in the church of tomorrow.

Orton draws from spirit breathed scriptures to develop a thorough history of earlier revival in the church, which came about through restoration of worship, harvest, and awakening. He is genuine in his evaluation and in his analysis of the present status and decline of the church.

His conclusions, proposals, call to Holiness, and his prescription for renewal are well thought out, however, they may seem radical to some. Whether Charismatic, Evangelical, or Missional in theological stand, every reader will find practical principles for Christian living, spiritual growth, restoration of Biblical truth, and  revival in the Church.

Releasing Heaven’s Wisdom, Blessing, and Power in Your World

In his book “Aligning with Heaven – Unleashing Ancient Secrets to Power, Blessing and Harvest” Dr. David Herzog reveals how by following the ancient paths of Moses, Elijah, and Solomon we can see unmatched signs, wonders, and miracles, by aligning ourselves with the “keys to the blueprints of heaven.” These same ancient paths opened the way for the Apostle Paul and the disciples to access the key to World evangelism.

Dr. Herzog describes how these ancient geographical portals accessible in the city of Jerusalem, Bethel, Galilee, and Eden as well as through the Jewish feasts: the Feast of Weeks, the Feast of the Tabernacles and the Passover are accessible to Christians today. These selected passages from Old Testament records, historical facts, archaeological findings, and scientific evidence of the advanced wisdom in Israel are powerful in implication, overlooked by many theologians, misunderstood by others, but worthy of study for all. We are living in prophetic times. Dr. Herzog reminds the reader that, as we align ourselves with the God of Israel, the people, and the land we will see the blessings, wisdom, and favor that reconnect us with God the creator and the resurrection power of His indwelling spirit.

“Aligning with Heaven – Unleashing Ancient Secrets to Power, Blessing and Harvest” is written for those seeking a release of these ancient supernatural blessings experientially with resurrection power today.

A Journal for Recording Your Dreams, Visions, and Prophecies

In recent years I have read and benefited books by each of the contributors to the “Dream Journal,” Bill and Beni Johnson, Danny Silk, Banning Liebscher and Kevin Dedmon. So, I was immediately drawn to this journal. The book is designed to encourage the practice of writing down your dreams and visions and for recording revelations from your quiet times with God.

Each of the authors provide instruction, insight, challenge, and shared experiences on the importance of keeping a dream journal and making it a meaningful resource as you  and pursue God’s leading in light of these exciting prophetic days.

A positive model prayer is provided for beginning your dream journey. Each journal page is lined for easy recording of your personal entry with an inspirational thought, theme to follow, or a suggestion for your writing.

Throughout my spiritual journey I have made a practice of recording highlights from inspirational reading and devotional reflections that have influenced me. These have been in the form of gratitude journals, spiritual journals, God sightings, and various topical 40 day adventures with God.

I have been amazed to find how this practice is helping me recognize the voice of God, keeping me focused on Jesus, as the spirit gives me an awareness of God’s presence, in an attitude of expectation.

Finding Intimacy with God which Becomes a Living Doxology of Praise

In his book Perfect: What Jesus Teaches Us about Building Intimacy with God David Rex Gosnell encourages thinking that challenge readers to move out of their deeply entrenched bias boxes of opinion into a new and exciting experience; a deeper relationship with God.

Gosnell guides his readers in an investigative study of the Lord’s Prayer as found in Matthew 6:9-13 and in Luke chapter 11. He summarizes the content of the prayer, which includes: a salutation, a focus on God, an action on our part, petitions we make to God and a doxology of praise.

Chapter summaries capture vital Biblical teaching that will help young and growing believers grasp important truths regarding God’s character, love, and forgiveness. Each chapter also includes probing questions which inspire personal reflection leading to a deeper understanding of God’s plan, purpose, and His expectations from us.

Gosnell is a gifted communicator; He is excited about his message, articulates clearly, is credible and delivers his premise convincingly without being preachy or confrontational.

A Call for a Change in the Foundational Paradigm of Justice

From an early age Stuart Greaves became an observer in the social dynamics prevalent on an international scale. In his book “False Justice – Unveiling the Truth about Social Justice” he provides the basis for a melding of personal faith in Jesus Christ and his own affinity toward social injustice and the socioeconomic disparity across racial lines.

Greaves provides amazing Biblical insights into the plight of the poor, struggling with poverty, hunger, human trafficking, abortion, genocide, and human inequality. He then translates these perceptions into spiritual applications for implementing a Christ centered paradigm of justice.

As I read, I begin to examine my own personal commitment and motivation to explore social justice in light of the Christian principles I champion. I begin to relate the moral responsibility of society to the small acts of kindness we exercise individually. I may never impact legislation, sway social reform, eliminate racism, eradicate poverty, or abolish the political corruption rampant at many levels of government but I was awakened to a need for being spiritually relevant while being socially realistic. I determined to challenge the sophisticated, ethical, pharisaical, religious attitudes prevalent in society today.

The book is divided into two parts: Part I: Introduces the progression of justice, false messengers, the false gospel, and false worship and religion. Part II: Presents A Global Worship Movement for Justice, The Gospel as the true message of justice, The Messiah Jesus, as the just one, a man of war, and a charge for commitment. Greaves’ meticulous research is well documented, awe-inspiring resource for further reading and study.

Stuart Greaves’ book “False Justice – Unveiling the Truth about Social Justice” provides an impressive Biblical treatise a Clarian call for Change in the Foundational Paradigm of Justice. Highly recommended.
